19th National Women Conference in Nigeria.

Women in Nigeria have been admonished to ensure that all hands must be on deck to influence positive changes that will develop people in the society.

The  wife of President Hajia Aisha Buhari stated this at the 19th National Women’s conference organized in Lagos with the theme unlearn, learn and relearn.

Wife of the Governor State of Osun  Mrs Kafayat Oyetola led Osun delegates to the women conference held at Eko Hotel and Suite, Lagos state.

The wife of the President, Aisha Buhari who spoke through the wife of the Vice President of Nigeria Mrs Dolapo Osinbajo stated that the aim of the conference is to share ideas with one another.

She charged all participants to see the Programme as a rare privileged to better their lots as woman and home builders.

The 2019 women conference which was described as a right steps in right direction by the wife of the President Mrs Aisha Buhari also had in attendance the Speaker of House of Representatives Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, Governor of Lagos and Ogun state including wife of the Governor of Osun ,Ogun, Ekiti, Bauchi, Nasarawa, and Edo state among others.

Speaking at the Conference, Wife of the Governor State of Osun  Mrs Kafayat Oyetola who led Osun delegates to the women conference charged all women to think outside the box in order to promote sustainable development in their various environments.   

Earlier in her address of Welcome, Wife of Lagos State Governor Mrs Ibijoke Sanwolu who went down memory lane stated that the conference which was established in 1974 by the wife of Brigadier General Mobolaji Johnson the first military Governor of Lagos state is meant to promote vision, passion and foresight of women in the society and to also add value to lives of women in Lagos and Nigeria at large.
