The joint admissions and matriculation board has said the over 1.8 million candidates who sat for the unified tertiary matriculation examination would be able to check their results in their mobile phones and should not allow any computer-based test centre to exploit them.
The board added that the examination results are, however, still undergoing screening for malpractices and would be released any time next week.
The jamb head of information, Dr Fabian Benjamin, in an interview in Abuja said the board had designed a process, which would be announced shortly, to enable candidates to access their results through their mobile phones, without having to go through a CBT centre or a cyber cafe.
The 2019 UTME which held in 698 CBT centres nationwide was reported hampered with technical issues and faulty computers which slowed down the exercise in some centres in Lagos and Abuja.
