A lawmaker in the house of representatives, Alhassan Ado-Doguwa, has said the 9th  national assembly will  aim  to aid  reforms in the health, education and security sectors.

Hon. Doguwa, who has been endorsed by the ruling all progressives congress for  the majority leader post in the house of representatives,  spoke with journalists after a thank-you visit to the APC national working committee, where he was unveiled.

He said the house would engage very robustly without necessarily undermining the independence of a legislature which is paramount. Hon. Doguwa  said he had confidence  in the house under the leadership of Femi Gbajabiamila, who he said is long overdue as speaker
