Most Nigerians In Darkness

A Non-Governmental Organization ( Clean Tech Hub)  has stated that a good number of Nigerians lacked access to Electricity.‎

They made this known in a workshop, on promoting Citizens access to clean energy solution in Nigeria. Mr. Mark Amaza the facilitator, said that 93 million Nigerians lacked access to electricity.

According to him, the workshop was organized to foster awareness on the negative impacts of the use of the various sources of dirty energy, socially and mentally. ‎

He further stated that many people rely on fuelwood for cooking, thereby increasing the rate of health risk and deforestation.‎‎

Meanwhile, Mr. Amaza advised that training women, particularly food vendors across the country will drastically reduce the high demand of fuelwood for cooking and other industrial use with its accompanying health risk and related illnesses.‎‎
