2023: It’s Time For Women To Rule – CSO

Ahead of the 2023 general elections, a Civil Society Organisation; Brain Builder Youth Development Initiative, has called on voters in Kwara State to prioritise electing female candidates across party lines.

This appeal was contained in a statement signed by the Executive Director, BBYDI, Abideen Olasupo on Sunday.

The group in the statement tagged “Is your Political Party giving Her a Space?”, stated that women constituted approximately 15 per cent which represents 60 out of 409 total candidates contesting in the 2023 elections across the party lines in the state.
