Adeleke faults judgment, proceeds to appeal

Senator Ademola Adeleke has faulted the judgement of Justice Oathman Musa which nullified his nomination as the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, saying he will file for appeal.

Senator Adeleke who spoke through his lawyer, Nathaniel Oke, SAN, said the judge erred in law by going out of his way to source for evidence to arrive at what he termed as unjust conclusion.

He submitted that the court erred particularly when it ignored the evidence that Adeleke was educated up to secondary school level as required by law and expressed confidence that the judgment could not stand at appeal court.
