The general manager, Osun Community and Social Development Agency, Mrs Funmi Abokede has cleared the air on the rumors being peddled around about who built the recently commissioned Atakunmosa market in Ilesa
She was speaking in Osogbo on IMOLE AYO, an enlightenment programme on the achievements of Senator Ademola Adeleke’s administration on OSBC Radio and Television
Mrs Abokede explained that a total of 64 lockup shops were built and commissioned by the present administration in Osun State, pointing out that Osun CSDA monitored the project which commenced in February this year.
She said “all social intervention programmes of the Adeleke’s administration are geared towards alleviating the sufferings of the people.
“The Governor upon assumption of office released over five hundred million naira to Osun CSDA for the execution of projects ranging from provision of portable water, walking aids to people with special needs, construction of schools, toilet and health facilities, among others.
“We’ve embarked on several projects across the state and many more to come. We are also happy with the cooperation and understanding by the community leaders across Osun. Every community gets what they want through request. They only contribute five percent of the total sum with the rest done by the government.”
The general manager, Osun CSDA added that the money is being used for the execution of no fewer than ninety eight projects spread across all the nooks and crannies of Osun State out of which some have been completed while the rest are nearing completion
