
Moved by the devastation of flood on communities in Benue State, the All Progressives Congress (APC). Women Presidential Campaign Team has presented money and relief items worth N20 million to them.
The team led by the wife of the APC presidential candidate, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, was in Makurdi, the Benue State capital.
Tinubu told Governor Samuel Ortom, that they were in the State to commiserate with the people over the unfortunate flood incident that had ravaged several communities.
The leader of the delegation, who was accompanied by the wife of Vice Presidential candidate, Hajiya Nana Shetimma, said they feel the pains and understand the hardship the flood has caused individuals across the country.
The Lagos Central Senator further said that the APC women’s campaign team has decided to embark on sympathy visits and donate relief materials to States affected by the flood before it kick-starts the 2023 presidential campaigns.
