Osun Sports Vanguard has congratulated Governor Ademola Adeleke and the entire people of the state for the victory at Appeal court describing the judgement as affirmation of the will of God and voice of the people.
It would be recalled that the appellate court, in a unanimous decision by a three-member panel of justices, led by Justice Mohammed Lawal on Friday held that the appeal lodged by Governor Adeleke was meritorious.
The Association, in a statement by its Chairman Mr. Tunde Popoola indicates that outcome of the election litigation at Appeal court further attested to Governor Adeleke’s love by the people who massively voted for him during the July 2022 Governorship election and the rightful governor of Osun State.
The statement said “The victory of Governor Adeleke and the PDP at the Appeal Court is very symbolic. It is an act of God demonstrated through the people who voted him during the July 16, 2022, governorship election.
“We are full of joy for the ruling as we congratulate Governor Adeleke, His deputy, Prince Kola Adewusi, The SSG, Chief of Stafff and the entire good people of the state who have been praying for the victory of light over darkness.
“As an association whose mission is to support the administration of Governor Adeleke to develop and promote Osun Sports, we affirm him of our commitment to key into his sports policy and assure him of our maximum support to his government with a view to changing fortune of osun Sports for better,’ the statement concluded
