Aragbiji Attends 3-Day Governing Council Meeting

The prominent Oba Abdur Rasheed Ayotunde Olabomi, Aragbiji of Iragbiji on Sunday, 12th September, 2021 arrived at Ondo town for the regular Governing Council Meeting of the great Adeyemi College of Education, Ondo. Oba Olabomi who is the representative of the Alumni Association of the College.

HRM Aragbiji in a statement by his Press Officer, Adekunle Adewumi, said it was a great opportunity to be in the institute his Alma Matta once again to deliberate with other Board Members on how to better improve the standard of the school academically and in all other areas, an institution where he was once a student.

Oba Abdur Rasheed had a robust interaction with fellow members of the Board where critical policy matters on the progress of the College were deliberated upon.

Aragbiji who is a supporter of quality education said an institution which feeds her students with quality education, leadership skills, morals and the right environment will produce graduates who will grow up to become great leaders in any field they find themselves. And,when such individuals are called upon to manage the affairs of the state or nation, they will do so effectively as the necessary leadership skills have been embedded in them right from their youthful days.

Oba Abdur Rasheed Olabomi further emphasized that a youth well nurtured academically will have greater chances of being gainfully employed after his education reducing the rate of unemployment in the country and thereby improving the standard of living of the citizens.
