Aragbiji Felicitates Prof. L. F. Oladimeji as he delivers the 1st Inaugural Lecture at Al-Hikmah University, Ilorin

The Eminent Aragbiji of Iragbiji, Oba Abdur-Rasheed Ayotunde Olabomi, Odundun IV on Friday 7th January, 2022 felicitated Prof. L. F. Oladimeji who delivered the maiden inaugural lecture of Al-Hikmah University, Ilorin, Nigeria which he also attended.

Oba Olabomi was full of praises for Professor Abdu-Lateef Oladimeji saying indeed it was a great feat that he delivered the 1st inaugural lecture of prestigious University, a lecture titled: ROVING PREACHERS OF THE MESSAGE; DECONSTRUCTING DÀWAH ACROSS BORDERS.

HRM Aragbiji went ahead to applaud Professor Oladimeji who he described as his friend of more than three decades describing him as an erudite scholar, a diligent and patriotic Nigerian, a disciplined personality and one with love for humanity. He encouraged him to keep up the good works and continue to be an exemplar for younger ones to emulate.

The great monarch then charged everyone who witnessed the occasion and other Nigerians to emulate the character of the Professor which has brought him such a recognition and urged the board of management and staffs of the institution to uphold the motto of the school “… Learning for Wisdom and Morality” and produce graduates than can transform the world and make it a better place.

Lastly, Oba Olabomi commended the resilience of the founder of the University, Governing Council and Management for “Belling the cat” and especially Professor Oladimeji and other pioneer team praying that the University experiences massive growth and progress in every area.

The Inaugural Lecture was witnessed by prominent Nigerians across the length and breadth of Nigeria. It was a reflection of the personality of the erudite Professor Lateef Oladimeji.
