Aragbiji Felicitates the Former Governor of Osun State on the conferment of the Honorary Doctor of Public Administration Award

The Eminent Oba Abdur Rasheed Ayotunde Olabomi, Odundun IV, the Aragbiji of Iragbiji land attended the conferment of Honourary Doctor of Public Administration Award (Honoris Causer) conferred on the former Governor of Osun State His Excellency Chief Adebisi Bamidele Akande on Saturday 27th of November, 2021 by the Igbinedion University, Okada, Edo State at its 19th Convocation ceremony.

HRM Aragbiji who felicitates Chief Akande said the former Governor was more than worthy of such a prestigious award,describing him as a diligent and committed leader whose selfless service and exceptional leadership skills led to the accomplishment of great feat during his time in office.

Oba Olabomi appreciated the former Governor for his great endowment noting that only a man with such level of endowment could have successfully accomplished the construction of the whole State Secretariat structures with little resources available as at the time.

Aragbiji stated that the former Governor remains a great and invaluable asset to the state as his works during his time in office were instrumental to the growth of the state this far.

Lastly, he prayed that things of joy will not cease in his life and the Almighty will continue to renew his strength on a daily basis.
