His Royal Majesty, Oba Abdur-Rasheed Ayotunde Olabomi, Odundun IV, the Aragbiji of Iragbiji land on Wednesday 27th April, 2022 hosted the Chief Imam of Iragbiji Alh. Ibrahim Oyewole, other Islamic Clerics and Distinguished Personalities at the ending of the Tefsir ‘l Quran Ramadan 2022 for Iragbiji at the Oba Olabomi Pavilion, Aragbiji Palace, Iragbiji.
The occasion which was used to raise prayers for Iragbiji, the Aragbiji, the State of Osun, the Governor of Osun State, His Excellency Adegboyega Oyetola as well as the entire nation, Nigeria, was also used as a medium to raise substantial donation for the renovation of the Iragbiji Central Mosque.
Oba Olabomi appreciated all who made the occasion a success with special appreciation to the Governor of the State who was duly represented by Hon. Olalekan Badmus, the Firstlady of the State who was also well represented as she was unavoidably absent, Hon. Abdul Rasheed Olalekan, member House of Representatives for Boripe/Ifelodun/Odo Otin, Hon. Olatoke Olaniyan, Hon.Fauziyah Olaniyan, Alh. Adeoye Bakare, the Aragbiji-In-Council, the Chief Imam of Iragbiji and other distinguished personalities.
The Eminent Monarch went ahead to appreciate all those who donated to the renovation of the Central Mosque and prayed that the Almighty Allah will perfect all that concerns them.
Lastly, he appreciated Alh. Shiek Ashiru Oladosu (Grand Mufty of Iragbiji) for the lecture he delivered and the level of wisdom and intelligence with which he delivered it. “My prayer is that the Almighty Allah will see us through to the end of this ramadan period and keep us all to see that of 2023 in good health” he said.
