Aragbiji identifies with Women Organization In Iragbiji as the Royal Father of the day

The prominent Oba Abdur Rasheed Ayotunde Olabomi, Odundun IV, was the Royal Father of the day at the 1st Archdeaconry Women Organisation Local Conference at the ST. Peter’s Anglican Church, Iragbiji on 18th September, 2021.
Oba Abdur Rasheed in a statement by his Press Officer, Adekunle Adewumi, said he felt honored to have been chosen by the women and thanked the church and the women in particular for the impacts they are making in the society especially their strong influence.

HRM Aragbiji used the opportunity to speak briefly about the negative effects of Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) and admonished women to be advocates of putting an end to such harmful practices.
Oba Abdur Rasheed prayed to God for all to witness many more ahead in the Archdeaconry. He then went ahead to give a reasonable amount of money to support the organization‘s programmes.


The Diocesan President, Women Organisation Mrs. M.M. Babatunji who is also the wife of the Bishop Osun Diocese expressed appreciation to the Royal Father for his steadfast support for the Church always. According to Mrs Babatunji, of all the eighteen (18) archdeaconries in the Diocese, this is the second time she would be seeing a Royal Father on attending such a program in person even as Oba Olabomi has always been at the Church programmes. She went further to advise everyone present to get their Voters’ Cards and support the present government in power led by His Excellency, Adegboyega Oyetola, come July 2022 so that the great development that has hit the land since the inception of this government can continue.
