The Prominent Aragbiji of Iragbiji land, Oba Abdur-Rasheed Ayotunde Olabomi, Odundun IV on Tuesday 8th February, 2022 received the Governor of Osun State, His Excellency Adegboyega Oyetola who paid visit to his palace alongside other Royal Fathers and Principal stakeholders of Boripe Local Government.
Oba Olabomi who was full of praises for His Excellency during the courtesy visit said the Governor who is an illustrious son of Iragbiji has indeed done tremendously well since he assumed office over 3 years ago describing him as a Pride, hardworking, committed and dedicated individual with exceptional leadership and resource management skills.
HRM Aragbiji appreciated the Governor for the remarkable developments that have been recorded in the State and especially since he assumed the post of the number one citizen of the state. He then urged him not to relent as his good works are really creating massive impacts in the State and transforming lives while his leadership has given fresh hopes to the people of Osun. He also appreciated members of the entourage of the Governor who included the wife of the Governor, Her Excellency Kafayat Oyetola, the Deputy Governor Gboyega Alabi and his wife, the Speaker of the House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Timothy Owoeye, the APC party Chairman Prince Gboyega Famoodun and other high profile personalities present.
His Excellency in response appreciated the key stakeholders of Boripe Local Government for their support and encouragements, support and prayers so far as it had been a source of motivation for him and his cabinet to give more to the State. He gave special appreciation to HRM Oba Abdur-Rasheed Ayotunde Olabomi,the Aragbiji of Iragbiji saying he’s a rare and exceptional Monarch who has the genuine love of his people and State at heart as he works passionately and tirelessly to see to the wellbeing and development of his City and State. He went further to appreciate the other Royal Fathers present, HRM Oba Dr. Oyetunde Olumuyiwa Ojo, the Olona of Ada, HRM Oba Quomorudeen Adeyemi, the Olororuwo of Ororuwo land and HRM Oba Rufus Ogunwole, Kujosin 1 the Alaagba of Aagba.
Finally, Oba Olabomi and the other Royal Fathers took turn to pray for the Governor that the Almighty God will continue to order his steps and grant him long life and good health to continue to lead the State. They also wished him success in the forthcoming February elections as they trust that God will make him victorious to lead the State until 2026. The Governor was then presented with two beautifully crafted artworks.
