Minister of Interior Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola has commended Governor Ademola Adeleke for promoting good governance by ensuring the sustainability of the Peoples Oriented Programmes that were abandoned in the state.
Ogbeni Aregbesola who gave the Commendation at the Commissioning of Ilesa Passport Production Centre and Passport Front Office of the Nigeria Immigration Service, appealed to Nigerians to apply online for their supports to avoid being scammed
The Commissioning of Ilesa Passport Production Centre and Passport Front Office was a historic event which brought together Former Governor of Osun and Minister of interior, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola and the Incumbent Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke.
It is the First Official event the two Leaders will be attending together and they did not disappoint the numerous supporters who gathered from far and near to witness the event as the Dancing Minister dug it out at the Dance floor with the Dancing Governor.
In his Remarks, Minister of Interior, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola appreciated Governor Ademola Adeleke for his disposition towards ensuring that abandoned projects are completed for the benefit of the people, without despite their political differences.
The Minister who maintained that “the purpose of embarking on the project of Passport Production Centre and Passport front Office is to ensure that waiting time for passport enrolment is reduced.” He appealed to Nigerians that stop patronizing touts and apply for their passports online to avoid being scammed.
In his Speech, Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke who stated that being progressive minded goes beyond playing partisan politics, especially with projects that affect the lives of the people.
Governor Adeleke who assured Ogbeni Aregbesola of the support of his administration at all time, maintained that his government is in putting a stop to the activities of illegal migrants who have been coming into the state to engage in illegal mining.
Earlier In his good will Message, the Comptroller General, Nigeria Immigration Servive , Mr Isah Jere stated that the facility will enhance upward service delivery and give way to emergence of more seamless passport application system.

In her address of Welcome, the Comptroller of Immigration Services, Osun State Command, Mrs Abolupe Bewaji noted that the new facility will boost the economic potential of ijesaland.
The Event which Climaxed with the Commissioning of Ilesa Passport Production Centre and Passport front office by The Minister of interior, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola accompanied by Governor Ademola Adeleke, The Deputy Governor, Prince Kola Adewusi, The Secretary to the State Government Hon.
