Bandits hijack two teenagers in Kaduna community

Armed bandits have abducted two brothers in Rigachikun community of Igabi Local Government Ares of Kaduna State.

The incident happened around 12:45 am on Thursday at Tsallaken Dogo area of the community.

It was gathered that the bandits shot sporadically to scare residents away before fleeing the community.

A resident of the area, Mohammed Awalu said the incident shocked the community because the victims were teenagers.

”They were teenagers and we are all worried because the two brothers were whisked away and we have not heard from them,” he said.

He said the last time bandits attacked the community was a year ago.

Contacted State Police Command Public Relations Officer, ASP Jalige Mohammed said he was in a meeting but will find out the details of the incident.
