Bandits raid Kaduna communities, kill four

Some bandits have invaded two local government areas of Igabi and Jema’a in Kaduna State, killing four persons while scores were injured.

According to the state Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Mr Samuel Aruwan, in a statement three citizens were killed in Ungwan Lalle village, Igabi LGA.

He said the attack took place in the early hours of Monday.

He gave the names of those killed as Dayyabu Yarima, Dalhatu Ashiru and Suleiman Samatu.

The commissioner added that troops of Operation Safe Haven reported that gunmen attacked Niima Clinic in Golgofa village, Jema’a LGA on Monday and a worker at the clinic was killed.

He said, “Governor Nasir El-Rufai noted the reports with sadness and prayed for the repose of the souls of those killed.”
