BBNaija S6: I don’t remember asking Pere to remove mic, Maria reacts to strike

Following the strike for microphone infringement, Big Brother Naija Shine Ya Eye housemate, Maria, has claimed that she doesn’t remember removing her microphone or telling Pere to do same.

On Monday night, Maria and Pere received the first strike of the season for removing their microphones during the Saturday night party.

JMK also got her own strike for entering into the jacuzzi with her mic, an act that spoilt the device.

Before issuing the strike, a video that showed Maria telling Pere to remove his mic during the party was aired for the housemates.

Reacting to the strike, Maria said she couldn’t remember removing her mic or asking Pere to do the same.

Speaking to Tega and Emmanuel, Maria said, “You see that one that happened between me and Pere. I swear I must be drunk, on God.

“How can I tell Pere to remove his stupid mic? What do we even want to talk about that warranted me telling the boy to remove his mic? And I did not even look drunk. I did not look tipsy at all.”

Tega said maybe Maria wanted to discuss something personal with Pere but Maria still insisted on not remembering

Tega said, “That should be the only reason. Maybe you wanted to tell him a secret.”

Maria said, “Why would I ask him to remove his mic? I don’t remember doing that.”

For the second clip that showed her without a mic, she said it was an act of stupidity on her part because she had just come out of the shower and could have quickly put on the mic.

She, however, defended herself that she wanted to apply cream on her body and could not put on a mic to do that.
