BREAKING: INEC OFFICE GOT BURNT IN AKWA IBOM

The office of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Ibesikpo Asutan Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State has been gutted by fire, just a few hours before the state’s election.

Release stated that the burnt office had voting materials in it.

While the cause of the fire remains unknown for now, it is unclear if the incident would affect the conduct of the governorship and state assemblies’ polls.
