Buhari, others honour Tony Momoh as FEC meeting begins

The weekly meeting of the Federal Executive Council is underway.

The President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), who returned to Abuja on Tuesday after his four-day visit to his hometown, Daura, Katsina State, is presiding.

At the beginning of the meeting, Buhari led members to observe a minute silence in honour of two former ministers who died recently.

They are former Minister of Agriculture, Alfa Wali; and former Minister of Information and Culture, Tony Momoh.
