Buhari, Service Chiefs hold another closed-door meeting

President Muhammadu Buhari, on Tuesday, met with the security chiefs again. In attendance at the security briefing, which held at the State House were the National Security Adviser, Babagana Monguno; Defence Minister, Brig-Gen. Mansur Dan Ali; Chief of Defence Staff, Chief of Army Staff, Chief of Naval Staff, Chief of Air Staff, Inspector General of Police; Director General of the Department of State Service, and Director General of National Intelligence Agency.

The agenda of the closed-door meeting is unknown, but sources say it is not unconnected with security arrangements for Saturday’s supplementary elections coming up in some states. Also, a possible issue for discussion is the ongoing killings in Kaduna State.
