The state government of osun is not leaving any stone unturned to curb the spread of the dreaded lassa fever in the state.
A drive to that effect took the state government team to igbonna market in Oshogbo, the state capital.
Amidst singing and dancing aimed at sensitizing the traders and non traders at the popular igbonna market, it was a public enlightenment exercise to make resident be abreast of what lassa fever is, its causes, symptoms and prevention.
The campaign lead by the special adviser to the governor on public health, Dr. Siji olamiju, the team among others advised people to embrace personal hygiene by shunning acts or things which could make them vulnerable to the disease which has killed many in 19 states in Nigeria.
