Civil Service week begins in Osun, Next week Tuesday

A two day action packed programmes to herald the celebration of 2021 Civil Service Week in the state of Osun will commence next week , Tuesday with a free medical screening exercise for all civil servants.
Venue is the Local Government Service Commission hall,state secretariat.
A circular from the office of the state Head of Service and signed by the Permanent Secretary in the office,Mr.S.A Aina revealed that the grand finale to be presided over by the state governor,Mr Adegboyega Oyetola holds on Wednesday at the Staff Development Centre,behind State Government Secretariat.
The statement added that the former Minister of Health,Professor Isaac Adewole will deliver the first Public Service lecture of the day on the topic ” Financing Tertiary Education in the state of Osun”
The second lecture of the day on the topic ; Innovating the Civil Service of the state of Osun will be delivered by the Chairman,Osun Development Association,Dr.Segun Aina.
Highlight of the annual civil service week according to the Circular will be the presentation of Public Service Merit Awards to some civil servants found worthy in character and productivity .

Consequently,the state Head of Service,Dr Olowogboyega Oyebade has directed that all Accounting Officers of Ministries,Departments  and Agencies of Government with their officers and staff on Grade level 10 and above should  attend the events as a matter of duty as scheduled.
