Communal Clash In Warri Kills One

One person simply identified as Ogulagha-Wei has died in a renewed clash between Ogbe-Ijoh and Aladja communities in Warri Southwest and Udu council areas of Delta state, over a lingering boundary dispute.

Another is reportedly in critical condition, following a clash .

The renewed attacks sprang from ongoing demarcation exercise of the disputed boundary by the Delta State Government and the two Local Government Council authorities.

A section of Ogbe-Ijoh people in a statement demanded immediate erection of their buildings destroyed in the process, within seven days, calling on the Delta State Government to follow the demarcation already known to law.
