Death of NNL Chairman, Okenwa Ofor Shocking – Osun United
The management of Osun United has described the sudden demise of the Chairman of the Nigeria National League (NNL), Mr. Chidi Okenwa Ofor as sudden and Shocking.
This is contained in a statement approved by the Vice Chairman, Osun United who doubles as the Secretary General of NNL Club Owners Association, Mr. Layi Adesiyan and made available to newsmen through the Media Officer of the club, Tajudeen Amodu.
The statement said “the Nigerian football community has lost another veteran football administrator who was one of the few upright sportsmen in the country.”
“We therefore commiserate with the family of late Okenwa Ofor, the NFF, NNL board as well as the Enugu FA over the loss and pray God to forgive him all his shortcomings while on earth,” the statement concluded.
