The Osun State Government has assured the people of the state that the Imole free train service has come to stay in rendering transport services to people of the state as and when due.
The Coordinating Director for Ministry of Commerce, Industry, Cooperative and Empowerment, Mrs. Kehinde Odediran gave the assurance while bidding farewell to beneficiaries of the gesture who were returning to Lagos after Ramadan Celebration with their families
Mrs Odediran said “The free train ride is in line with the Governor Ademola Adeleke’s programmes of facilitating convenient movement of its citizen in and out of the state during festive seasons.
“It’s part of the promise of good governance by extending this welfare gesture to residents as a result of financial hardship being faced by some travellers.
“the administration of Governor Ademola Adeleke will continue to promote life changing policies that will improve the quality of life of the people in Osun state, said Mrs Odediran.”
She admonished the Beneficiaries of Imole Free Train Service to reciprocate the good gesture of Governor Ademola Adeleke by paying their taxes regularly so as to keep enjoying the good works of the state government in order to make the state more economically accommodating for all.
Some of the beneficiaries of the Imole Free Train Service who spoke in Separate interviews with OSBC News including Mr. Kehinde Oladipo, Mrs Temitope Babalola, Mr. Wasiu Agbajelola, Mr. Wahab Suleiman and Mrs Wasiu Yahaya among others commended Governor Ademola Adeleke for Sustaining the Program, which they noted, has helped in providing succor to Families living outside Osun State to celebrate festivities with their loved ones at home.
The passengers showered encomium on the state governor for his good gestures for making live bearable and their festive period a worthwhile experience for the people of the state and beyond and assured the government of their support towards ensuring the uplift of the state in all ramifications. ###
