Senator Ajibola Basiru of Osun Central Senatorial District has urged Muslims in the Senatorial District use the time of Eidul Adh’a to pray for an enduring peace in the World.

In his congratulatory message on this year’s Eidul kabeer, Senator Basiru observes that the World more than ever before needs peace and God’s benediction giving a series of human and natural disasters bedeviling the World.

The Senator also used the occasion to appeal to the people of the State generally to pray for a peaceful conduct of the coming governorship election in the State to see to the return of Governor Oyetola to office on the 16th of this month.

“I want to appeal to our people to observe the Eidul kabeer celebrations peacefully and moderately and then approach the July 16th election with all calmness which the State is known for.”

” Our people must avoid provocation from any quarters and steer clear of any act of confrontation with some politicians and their agents whose stock in trade is violence.”

Senator Ajibola Basiru urged Muslims to let patience and hope in God which Eidul Kabeer represents reflect in them as they celebrate. He called on all loyalists,members and supporters of the All Progressives Congress in Osun to pray for the success of Governor Adegboyega Oyetola in the coming poll just as he prodded them to use this auspicious period to reach out to people trooping in for the celebration with the success story of the Governor in three and a half years.
