Falcons’ Goalie Nominated For French’s Best Goalkeeper Award

Super Falcons goalkeeper, Chiamaka Nnadozie is in the running for the best goalkeeper award in the French Feminine.

The 22-year-old won the award last season after she kept 13 clean sheets in 19 league appearances for Paris FC.

Nnadozie has kept nine clean sheets in 19 league appearances this season.

She will battle Olympic Lyon’s Christiane Endler and HAF Feminine’s Laetitia Philippe for the individual award.

Paris FC occupy third position on the league table with 35 points from 20 games.

She linked up with Paris FC from Nigerian outfit Rivers Angels in 2020

She is the youngest goalkeeper to keep a clean sheet at the FIFA Women’s World Cup, a feat achieved against Korea in France in 2019, aged 18 and 186 days.

The Super Falcons won the game by 2-0.
