Ganduje, Fashola, Okorocha for lecture

Amidst agitations for separation by some sections of the country, a group of eminent Nigerians will, on August 5, gather in Abuja to discuss the reality and myth of an indivisible and united Nigeria at a one-day public lecture.

At the event with the theme: Towards Ensuring an Enduring Democracy, organised by the APC Press Corps, Kano State Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje will deliver a keynote paper.

A five-man panel of eminent Nigerians comprising former Imo State Governor Rochas Okorocha, Works and Housing Minister Babatunde Fashola (SAN), Senator Peter Nwaboshi, Minister of State for the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Dr. Ramatu Tijjani-Aliyu and Ekiti Central Senator Opeyemi Bamidele are to discuss the paper.

A statement yesterday in Abuja by the Chairman of the Conference Organizing Committee, Mr. Babatunde Ayeni, said the lecture is aimed at contributing to the intellectual development of the nation’s democracy
