Osun State Governor Sen Ademola Adeleke has expressed satisfaction with the quality of work and the progress made on the ongoing construction of Osogbo-Ikirun-Ila Odo/ Kwara Stage boundary road.
This is just as he advised motorists plying the road to observe speed limit and drive safely always
Governor Adeleke who stated this on Saturday during as assessment tour of the road which has been abandoned for about 5 years lauded the contractor, Sammya Nigeria Limited for attaining about 80% of the target for the first phase of the project.
OSBC Governor’s Office Correspondent AbdulRaheem Adekilekun reports that the Governor called on the motoring public to always apply caution when driving on the road.
Fielding questions from newsmen, Co-ordinating Director, Ministry of Works Engr. Ajao Olusola said the first phase of the project which is 10.5kilometer length between Osogbo Steel Rolling and Alamisi Junction in Ikirun will be completed before the 100 days of Governor Adeleke in office.
On return to Osogbo, people of Ajegunle, Old Garrage roundabout to Ola-Iya, Ogo oluwa enroute Gbongan road trooped out enmass to cheer the Governor who out of love and respect acknowledged the unprecedented show of love and affection
