Hotel owner found dead in car trunk

An Ogun-based hotelier, Jimoh Bello, who allegedly went missing, has been found dead in his car trunk.

It was gathered that Bello went missing on Monday after he left his office in the Owode-Idiroko area of Ogun State.

It was learnt that after efforts to reach Bello proved abortive; he was reported missing at the Owode Police Station.

Our correspondent gathered that the decomposing body of Bello was found on Thursday by residents of the area where he was dumped at the trunk of his Toyota Camry vehicle.

It was gathered that a stench from the vehicle drew the residents closer to the vehicle where they noticed blood stains underneath the car.

Efforts to get the comment of the Ogun State Police Public Relations Officer, Abimbola Oyeyemi, by our correspondent proved abortive as his telephone number was not reachable.
