Imo PDP chairman resigns

The chairman of the peoples democratic party in Imo state, Mr. Charles Ezekwem, has resigned his position. He equally resigned as a member of the PDP in the state.

Mr. Ezekwem in a letter  addressed to the national chairman of the pdp, said that he resigned after consulting his family members and his supporters across the state.

The letter  was copied to the state publicity secretary of the party, the chairman of the party in okigwe local government area and his ward chairman, urban ward 11, okigwe lga.

Meanwhile, speculations are rife in the state that mr. Ezekwem resigned in order to join the all progressives congress.

Others said that he resigned in order to safeguard his job as the board chairman of heartland fc of owerri, owned by the state government.
