July 16: Oyetola’s Wife woos Traders for her Husband

In continuation of her campaign for the reelection of her husband, Wife of the Osun State Governor, Mrs Kafayat Oyetola has enjoined market men and women in the state to vote massively for her husband, Governor Adegboyega Oyetola during the forthcoming gubernatorial election slated for July 16, 2022.

Mrs. Oyetola who gave the charge at the Monday Market in Ikirun and Irojo Market in Ilesa while addressing hundreds of traders said this would ensure continuity of good governance and prudent management of resources.

She commended Osun traders for their unflinching support towards the administration of Governor Oyetola describing them as an integral part of the government.

Accompanied by the wife of the Deputy Governor, Mrs Oyefunke Alabi, the former member of the House of Representatives, Honourable Ayo Omidiran, wives of top government functionaries, political groups and party members in the state, Mrs Oyetola stated that the informal sector comprising the bulk of market men and women across the state was key to the increase in the IGR the state is currently enjoying.

“Let me assure you that the Governor will not let you down and will continue to provide more infrastructures that will improve everybody’s welfare and wellbeing.

“The present administration in the state will not relent in churning out more intervention programmes for you to boost your sales and businesses.’

“I urge you all to get your PVCs ready and desist from any form of violence that can truncate the prevailing peace in the state before, during and after the election.”

Mrs Oyetola also used the occasion of the campaign to educate them on how to vote by telling them to use their index finger to cast their votes for the Governor.

The obviously joyous market men and women through the warm reception they accorded the first lady, while reacting, commended Governor Oyetola for his giant strides in all sectors of the state promising that they will reciprocate his good gesture by voting massively for him.

The peak of the campaign was the distribution of the campaign flyers of the APC gubernatorial candidate, Governor Adegboyega Oyetola to the market men and women by the First lady and her team.
