Just In: APC’s Binani Breaks Record, Wins Adamawa Guber Election

The Independent National Electoral Commission has declared Senator Aisha Dahiru, popularly known as Binani, as the winner of the Adamawa Governorship election.

Barrister Hudu Yunusa, the Resident Electoral Commissioner for the state made the declaration following the supplementary election held Saturday.

The collation of results for the Adamawa Governorship Supplementary elections, which resumed late Saturday night with results from 10 councils collated had earlier put Governor Ahmadu Fintiri, in the lead over his rival from the All Progressives Congress, Senator Aishatu Dahiru Binani.
