JUST IN: BUHARI, SERVICE CHIEFS MEET

President Muhammadu Buhari and service chiefs have begun another meeting in Abuja. The closed-door meeting is taking place at the Presidential Villa. Security plans for the March 9 governorship and State Houses of Assembly polls are most likely top issues on the agenda.


Those sighted going for the meeting were the Chief of Defence Staff, Gen. Gabriel Olonisakin; Chief of Army Staff, Lt.-Gen. Yusuf Buratai; Chief of Naval Staff, Ibok-Ete Ejwe Ibas; and the Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Sadiq Abubakar.


The attendance also included the National Security Adviser, Maj.-Gen. Babagana Monguno (retd); Director-General of National Intelligence Agency; the Director-General, Department of Security Service; and Acting Inspector-General of Police, Mr. Mohammed Adamu, among others.
