Kano approves N489.2m for NECO, Arabic exams

The Kano State Government has approved N489.2m for the payment of 2020 National Examination Council and National Board for Arabic and Islamic Studies examinations for 29,126 students.

The approval was contained in a statement by the Public Relations Officer, Kano Ministry of Education, Aliyu Yusuf, on Monday.

According to the statement, only students that obtained five credits and above including Mathematics and English language in the qualifying examination would benefit.

“This followed the submissions made to the State Executive Council by the Commissioner of Education, Sanusi Kiru,” the statement said.
