Kano sacks three civil servants for misconduct, promotes 130

THE Kano State Government has dismissed three civil servants having been found guilty of misconduct.

It also approved the promotion of 130 workers in the mainstream of the Civil Service.

The Chairman of the State Civil Service Commission, Bello Kiru, announced this on Thursday shortly after the routine meeting for senior staff promotion held at the commission conference hall.

This was contained in a statement issued by the commission’s Public Relations Officer, Ismail Gwammaja, and made available to newsmen in Kano on Thursday.

“A total of 130 workers were promoted while three other cases of disciplinary were treated accordingly base on Civil Service rules. The three staff facing disciplinary panel were dismissed from service for misconducts,” the statement said
