Kogi APC Chieftain Donates N10m To Flood Victims

The Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress in Kogi State, Yakubu Ajaka, has made a donation of ten million naira relief fund to flood victims in Ibaji.

Ibaji happens to be one of the worst hit area by the ravaging flood, after the opening of Lagdo Dam in Cameroon, over a week ago.

The donation according to information gathered, came as a result of outcry received from several victims in the area who had been badly affected by the natural disaster.

Yakubu appreciated the Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, for his efforts in ensuring that the devastating effects of the flood in the state was curtailed to the barest minimum.

The APC stalwart added that outside the government’s efforts to offer relief to citizens in such trying times, well meaning individuals must also make tangible effort to complement such strides, also urging  philanthropists and organisations to do same.
