Many injured as hoodlums attack SDP secretariat in Ondo

Many persons were reportedly injured when hoodlums attacked the secretariat of the Social Democratic Party in Idanre town, Idanre Local Government Area of Ondo State on Tuesday evening.

The hoodlums were said to have stormed the secretariat while a meeting of the party members was ongoing.

The incident happened four days to the local government election in the state.

According to an eyewitness, the hoodlums numbering about 20, stormed the secretariat with dangerous weapons and beat up members of the party during the meeting.

The cause of the attack was yet unknown as of the time of this report.
