Men of the Kano State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps have arrested two security guards for sexually abusing a 13-year-old girl in the Kumbotso Local Government Area.
The NSCDC Commandant, Abu Abdu, on Tuesday said, “The command has arrested two local security guards, aged 56 and 65, for sexually abusing a 13- year-old girl.
“During investigation, the suspects said they normally lured the girl with N200 whenever they wanted to have their ways with her. We have taken them to a court,” he said.
According to Abdu, the command is committed to curtailing the menace of women and child abuse in the state.
He said the command would continue to monitor motor parks, markets, as well as uncompleted buildings where such illegal activities were being carried out.
The commandant noted that the NSCDC had strengthened its frontline actions against banditry and kidnapping.
