NUJ Inter-Chapel Sports Competition: Local Govt Set To Dethrone OSBC In Wednesday’s Final

A late goal by Kazeem Amodu ended Correspondent Chapel’s hope of reaching the final of the 2022 NUJ Inter Chapel Soccer competition.

The lone goal, however brought terrible tears to faces of the loser’s chapel’s Chairman, Sina Abubakar, who, together with other executive members, friends and well-wishers consoled their goalkeeper, Toba Adedeji as he emerged man-of-the-match for his outstanding performances.

In a related development, OSBC Chapel fought hard to beat Information Chapel by two unreplied goals in the second semi final. The goals were scored in the second half by Ayodeji Akinloye through solo efforts.

The result means Local Government chapel will face OSBC Chapel in the final on Wednesday, October 26 at the Osogbo Township stadium 3pm

In a related development, the finals of Ago Olopon, Table Tennis and Ludo will also take place at the Ultra Modern Michael and Felicia Table Tennis Hall, Osogbo Stadium beginning from 4pm.
