NUJ OSBC gets new executive

Comrade Tunde Adeyemo of the News and Current Affairs Department has emerged as the Chairman of the OSBC Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists.

Also Comrades Nathaniel Oyegoke of New Dawn Television, Ibokun and Oluwaranti Ojewumi of OSBC’s Department of Sports are part of the new Excos.

They returned unopposed at a brief Electoral Programme held yesterday in the Corporation.

Speaking after taking their oath of office, OSBC Director General, Mrs. Jumoke Akinjiola urged the new excos to build a virile union.

Chairman of Osun Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Comrade Kehinde Ayantunji had earlier stressed the need for the new Excos to play up the welfare of the members of the chapel.

In his acceptance speech, the new NUJ OSBC Chapel chairman, Comrade Tunde Adeyemo solicited the support of the leaders and members of the union so as to move it forward.

Other posts are yet to be decided.
