NURTW Boss arrested, released

Chairman of the National Union of Road Transport Workers, Osun state chapter, Kazeem Oyewale, popularly known as ‘Asiri Eniba.’ was on Friday arrested by armed Soldiers in Osogbo

According to the Punch, Oyewale, who is the NURTW Chairman, Olorunda unit was reportedly picked up in the afternoon at his Ojurin, Osogbo motor park office

Report said this occured after some hoodlums engaged in free for all around Old Garage, where Oyewale is the Chairman.

The armed soldiers who were parading round the area at the time were said to have moved in and arrested the hoodlums, including Oyewale and handed them over to the police at the command headquarters in Osogbo.

Unconfirmed report also said Oyewale has been released late in the evening.
