Okocha reacts as Messi joins PSG

Former Super Eagles captain, Austin Jay-Jay Okocha, has welcomed Lionel Messi to Paris Saint-Germain.

Messi left Barcelona last week after failing to renew his contract and he signed a two-year contract with PSG with the option of one more year.

Okocha posted a picture of him and the 34-year-old on Instagram and wrote: “Welcome to Paris”.

The ex-Nigeria international represented PSG for four years.

During his stint there, Okocha helped the Ligue 1 side win the Trophee des Champions in 1998 and the UEFA Intertoto Cup in 2001.

Okocha left France in 2002 for another spell in England with Bolton Wanderers, before moving to Qatar SC and Hull City later on.
