Osun 2022: Accord Party Candidate, Ogunbiyi laments Slow Process, lauds Participation

The governorship candidate of the Accord Party in the 2022 Osun State governorship election, Dr Akin Ogunbiyi has lamented the slow process of some the Independent National Electoral Commission.

Speaking with newsmen after casting his vote at unit 03, ward 05, Methodist Primary School, Ile-Ogbo, Ogunbiyi observed that there was a large turnout of voters but the process was a bit slow.

“I discovered that the exercise is too slow here (in my unit). The INEC officials here told me that a few persons have voted as at past 10.30am and we have over 500 eligible voters in this unit.

“They need to step up the process so that eligible voters won’t be disenfranchised. They need to put in more efforts and be fast about it.

“The reports I got from across the state showed massive turn out of voters and that the exercise is peaceful, orderly and violence free, said Ogunbiyi”
