Electorates in Orolu, Irepodun, Olorunda and Osogbo, Federal Constituencies have all showered encomium on the manner at which the gubernatorial election in the state of Osun was conducted.
They made the remark today during the ongoing gubernatorial exercise in the state of Osun.
Kayode Abayomi in Ward 5 Unit 4 Woru Compound in Ilobu said the voting exercise was calm and the turn out of the voters was massive and encouraging. He said if the trend continues, the gubernatorial exercise in Osun would be the best in the country.
The Asiwaju and Aare Musulumi of Erin Osun Engr. Hassan Alao of ward 7 Unit 8 at United Christian Primary School Erin Osun also applauded the Independent National Electoral Commission on the conduct of the poll although the community leaders said the Bi- modal Voter Accreditation System failed to capture and recognize his fingerprints and Face.
Also electorates in Unit 11 Ward 6 Obalowu1, Owode, Igbona and ward 10 Unit 34 in Okinni area also commended the professionalism displayed by the security personnel deployed for the election, saying they have handled their beats in a peaceful manner.
As at the time of filing this report ,the voting exercise is still ongoing.
