Osun Government Assures Civil Servants Of Job Security

Civil servants in Osun state have again been reassured of their job security and prompt payment of their salaries.

Senior Special Assistant to Osun State governor on media, Mr Oladele Olabamiji gave the assurances while speaking on IMOLE AYO a sensitization programme promoting the activities of Governor Ademola Adeleke’s administration on OSBC Radio and Television

Mr Olabamiji said the issue of half salary has become a thing of the past in Osun State under the leadership of Senator Ademola Adeleke who he described as workers friendly governor.

According to him, “it is the duty of a responsible government to pay the salaries of its workforce as and when due. We can authoritatively state that the governor has been living up to the task in this regard

“We therefore assured all categories of pensioners in the State including contributory pensioners that, the Adeleke’s administration is working assiduously to pay all their arrears. The delay in the payment of some pensioners was due to the compilation and harmonisation of pensioners names by officers in charge.”

Mr Olabamiji added that payment will commence immediately the compilations and harmonisation are completed

The Senior Special Assistant to the governor reiterated the determination of the present Administration in Osun State to complete all projects embarked upon by past administrations saying that, since such projects are for the betterment and welfare of the people of the State, Governor Ademola Adeleke will ensure their completion without any discrimination.
