
Osun government has embraced value added contributions from the populace in developing and making the state a better place for all.
The Special Adviser to the Governor on Civic Engagement, Hon Olatunbosun Oyintiloye made this known at a meeting with Executives of Osun State Barbing and Hairdressing and Cosmetology Association (OBAHCA).
Hon. Oyintiloye describing the beauticians as people of repute said, their impact on the state economy is noteworthy, commended them for fulfilling their civic responsibilities, as he encouraged them to sustain their support and commitment for the government.
He also reiterated that they are important stakeholder to the government while noting that the government has placed values on them as a body that can not be taken for granted.
He further accentuated that the government is open to suggestions, recommendations, advice or even criticism as these will inform the decisions of government in policy formulation and execution.
Meanwhile, Oyintiloye said the government will continue the partnership that will yield good service delivery and amplify democratic dividends, adding that the government will continue to involve all interest groups as critical stakeholders in decision making process.
In her remarks, the President of the association, Chief Mrs Funmilayo Taiwo appreciated the government of Governor Gboyega Oyetola’s administration for identifying with them, expressing that the association will continue to support the government and will not fail in fulfilling its duty as citizens of the state, through tax payment.
