Osun Governor hosts LAUTECH

The state government of Osun is committed to joint ownership of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology LAUTECH and remains resolute to meet up with its responsibility to the school as stipulated by law.

Governor, state of Osun, Mr. Gboyega Oyetola made the pronouncement while receiving the management of LAUTECH on a courtesy visit in his office.

The Governor stressed that the state of Osun is taking seriously joint ownership of the school with Oyo state as affirmed by a supreme court judgment.

He clarified that the state government would continue to support the university to maintain its standard despite the fact that distribution of the school infrastructure is lopsided as more is located in oyo state.

Mr. Oyetola  also made it clear that his administration would not rest in its laurels at supporting efforts that will strengthen the bond of ownership between the two states.

Earlier, the Vice Chancellor of LAUTECH, Professor Michael Ologunde had lauded the administration of Mr.  Gboyega Oyetola for giving education top priority and being supportive of the University
